The view looks west toward Wheeling Island in the Ohio River. A lone vehicle is on the open-mesh steel grate, approaching downtown Wheeling. Horizontal cables attached to the bridge help stabilize it in high winds.

The 1955 steel arch bridge carrying I-70 over the Ohio River makes a cameo appearance at bottom right. Posterization has been added.
