A view of a cooking area and covered wagon from the original building of Sutter's Fort, basically the office. It is the lone survivor of the complex, the rest is a reproduction.br/ br/ The fort's original adobe-brick outer walls were taken for buildings elsewhere during the Gold Rush and remnants were washed away by flooding.
