This station was moved 250 miles (400 km) from near Bridgeport NE to the Harold Warp Pioneer Village in Minden. It was also known as the Pumpkinseed Station.

Chinking (filling gaps between crude notched logs) would not have been the mortar you see here.

This front door with its elaborate handle and latch mechanism appears to be original. (Another image shows the door from inside.)

A sign once appeared above the handle. Perhaps "Pony Express Riders Must Wipe Their Boots."
