The restaurant is closed, and this classic sign is leaning against posts for a larger display above. This was once the home of the Fat Man, famous for his grins and chins. He's been taken in by another restaurant a few doors down, and an original painted sign of him is in a car museum here.

The Interstate era arrived in Santa Rosa in 1972. The fancy light at center right was added by the city a few years ago when 66 was torn up and repaved.
