This classic is likely from the early to mid-50s. The name is long-gone, perhaps painted over at one point. A sombrero appears on the post. The half-circle at top right might have been a sun at one time. There was neon too.

The odd thing is the placement--this sign is parallel to US 69, instead of at a 90-degree angle. Perhaps the owner figured he would only need half as much paint and neon tubing. But drivers would have had little chance to read the sign before they were already past the driveway.
