The overall scene is shown in another image. This typical stone marker shows 150+ years of exposure to road salt, abrasion, and perhaps a vandal or two. It would likely have been a soft drink tray and ashtray for the adjoining bus stop.

It originally read "Cumberland 260" or thereabouts.
