DUNKLE'S GULF #2 (Lincoln Highway Bedford PA)
We'll stop for gas a few times along the 3300 miles (5300 km) of the Lincoln Highway between New York City and San Francisco.
At this station, only the prices have changed since 1933...they still offer full service.
The station reflects off polished metal of a gasoline pump before dawn. The ghostly Gulf street sign is reflected twice--off the center of the station window, then the pump. The illuminated clock is inside the building. And the moon appears left of the pump's lock cover.
Other images in the Lincoln Highway PENNSYLVANIA gallery show the station in full.
