This box was photographed in the former home of Thomas R. Marshall, Vice-President under Woodrow Wilson. Marshall is best known for his 1917 quote: "What this country needs is a really good five-cent cigar."

The Lincoln Highway cigar brand was produced by a firm that still makes Marsh Wheeling "stogies" from National (Cumberland) Road days.
