FALLINGTIMBER (Rt 66 Glenrio TX/NM)

FALLINGTIMBER (Rt 66 Glenrio TX/NM)

Architect Frank Lloyd Wright liked to use natural stone walls combined with massive dark beams on his ceilings. His best-known home is Fallingwater in Pennsylvania. Here on the NM side of Glenrio, nature has done something else Wright liked--bringing the outside indoors. This was once a room, now it's exposed to the elements including snow, with collapsing timbers forming an interesting diagonal.
