This was a Nazi rocket fired at Britain late in World War II. How it ended up on a chain of Wyoming gas stations is more than a little unclear.

This location is a former Phillips 66 that moved next door. This high sign spelled out GASOLINE which was replaced in later years by PROPANE. Now there's only a little sign down below: For Sale.
