This wreck of a Chevy truck is halfway down Dirt 66 and apparently broke down just hours before. If so, the driver likely walked 10 miles (16 km) back to San Jon NM or the same distance ahead to the NM Welcome Center along I-40. It's also possible it was towed out here and abandoned.
