This reinforced concrete bridge was wide enough for Model T's to travel in both directions at once! It was part of Route 66's predecessor in the region--the National Old Trails Road.

Ruins of an old stone gas station are nearby. Also a long-vanished zoo, with "Mountain Lions" painted on a roofless stone ruin.
