Long-closed to traffic, this 1923 bridge should not even be walked. Sides have eroded and the wooden deck is precarious. Steel beams on this side have been replaced with wood which is now falling apart.

This bridge served as Route 66 for the first five years of its existence. A modern bridge is nearby, as is I-40.
