Just a sliver of sun illuminates native plants that now grow where Greyhound buses, trucks, and Model A's used to travel. The view is west just past the Painted Desert Trading Post.

The weathering 66 shield at left is old but would not have been part of the official signage. Most likely it was put on by a road fan long after this section was abandoned in the 1950s.
