JUNIOR'S GARAGE (Rt 66 Tucumcari NM)

One of Tucumcari's many abandoned Rt 66 gas stations has been turned into this fanciful tableau. The station's design is that of Enco or Humble, which is now ExxonMobil. The color scheme belongs to Phillips 66.

I especially like how the jaunty angular roofline of the 50s contrasts with the large-radius truck fenders typical of the 40s.
