This @1940 Bowser pump is branded for Phillips 66 and sits outside what is likely the oldest gas station in Illinois: Mahan's Station. It was moved to Shea's Gas Station Museum and restored.

This pump face, housed behind glass, shows artistic deterioration likely from condensation. Severe erosion of the paint's top coating appears below the numbers. No artistic effect was added...none was needed.
