FAT ELVIS DINER (Rt 66 Yukon OK)

FAT ELVIS DINER (Rt 66 Yukon OK)

This is where Elvis might have eaten! After all, his favorite dish was "food." Fries, hamburgers and shakes were his three basic food groups. One of his favorite meals had a pound of bacon, plus peanut butter. He was 42.

The sign uses backlit plastic panels, painted metal, and originally neon. Tubing holes are evident on the support post and under "AMBURGERS." The "H" is a later addition.

This one-of-a-kind diner is run by an Elvis impersonator, and was earlier named "Sid's."
