The mid-century sign of neon, painted metal and backlit plastic is eye-catching but fails to convey authenticity. Nor does the one-time pizza parlor worker at left. Inexplicably, he's still wearing his puffy uniform hat with a sombrero on top! A dove ("la paloma" in Spanish) completes the weirdness.
