VACUUM MUSEUM (Rt 66 St James MO)

VACUUM MUSEUM (Rt 66 St James MO)

It's the world's first (and so far only) vacuum cleaner museum. The official website www.vacuummuseum.com makes the obligatory reference: "We hope you get "sucked in" to the idea of learning about the history of vacuum cleaners."

Vacuums are also made, and sold, on site. But few people seem to stop (I never have). Maybe what they need is better marketing...like a Dust Bunny Petting Zoo. And a slogan for billboards along nearby I-44. How about "SUCK: See how it started. Exit Now."
