This double-sided signboard is the size of a bus. It sits outside a large restaurant along I-40 in Amarillo. One morning, en route to the Cadillac Ranch well before dawn, I encountered this message--apparently from the computer--and stopped to take this shot.

Later in the day all was normal and a beer commercial was running. But the next morning--en route to another dawn photo-shoot--I saw the same message.

What a wonderful way this would be to give two week's written notice of resignation! After too many late-night shifts and too many stingy tips from tourists, you simply type out: MR JONES: I QUIT --BOB.
