This Marathon man once advertised the regional gasoline brand. He was forcibly retired in the late 1950s by a new corporate logo.

This porcelain steel sign has been defaced by what appear to be shotgun blasts. It's from the collection at Shea's Gas Station Museum, housed in a former 1955 Marathon station.
