LEXINGTON #20 (Lexington MO)
The courthouse goes back to 1847-49. The lawn has a small-scale Statue of Liberty. The native stone wall in front commemorates the Pony Express, operated at a big loss by the freight-hauling firm of Russell, Majors & Waddell which had its headquarters in a long-vanished building nearby.
