This 1915 arch houses weights and pulleys for a one-time railroad dock. Steam locomotives worked underneath, getting freight cars from ships to railroad tracks. But in the 1930s, that cargo began arriving over new bridges.

Today the arch is in good shape--but the prime location below is a mess. Wood planks are unsafe, and someone has left trash behind.
