This was installed in 1878 for a jewelry store. It is 17 feet tall and largely of cast iron with a brass movement. Unlike most historic urban clocks it has not been electrified and is hand-wound twice a week.

The dumpster and other sidewalk impediments are a reminder that a city is never really finished...until it is.
