Drive by at 70 mph, and you see only a blurred hunk of rusting metal in the weeds.

Get out and actually look, however, and it becomes far more interesting. The truck is very likely a veteran of Rt 66, just 30-feet away. It's for sale outside a flea market west of Amarillo TX. $200 is scrawled on the side.

What you see here is pretty much everything you get for your $200. There's a frame and part of a cab. It obviously needs front-end work. Also a steering wheel, windshield and roof.

This shot was taken with a wide-angle lens from approximately the vantage-point of a small dog, because sometimes they have the best views.
