MOUNT LOCUST #4 (Natchez Trace nr Fayette MS)

Mount Locust is the only survivor of some 50 "stands" or inns that once dotted the Trace between Natchez MS and Nashville TN. Food was served in this plantation house and lodging was on the ground or in a bunkhouse out back that has not survived.
