TODAY'S FREIGHT-WAGON (FEDEX) (National Road OH)
A rusting early-50s Chevy appears to watch as today's equivalent of the early-1800s freight-wagon heads west along a narrow bypassed section. The US government built the National Road partially to increase trade with settlements springing up here, in what was then the Ohio Territory. This is part of the original route. A modern section of US 40 is nearby.
