This home was built in stages. A crude 1797 structure in back was added to in 1836, then came this lovely Greek Revival front in 1849.

McRaven has been restored and is open for tours. There's a claim that this is the "most haunted house in Mississippi" because of deaths inside and out--including the owner, gunned down by Union soldiers.
