HOTEL EL RANCHO #2 (Rt 66 Gallup NM)
The hotel dates from 1937 and was a favorite for Hollywood actors shooting on-location. John Wayne slept here, and other stars of "westerns" did too.
Other "overnight" stars include the Marx Brothers, W.C. Fields and Mae West. Today the rooms are named after many of them.
