This is the back corner of the former gas station and beer joint. It had a front canopy with two gas pumps, all long gone. A metal sign support is still visible next to the old phone pole.

Headlights from westbound I-40 traffic barely appear under the distant tree. There is a Montoya exit off I-40, but it's too far away to have given this place any chance of surviving.
