CAR ON WOODEN BRIDGE (Lincoln Highway Fort Steele WY)
This is the second-generation routing of the Lincoln Highway with I-80 alongside. The bridge, over a dry wash, is from 1930 or so. It is clearly derived from railroad components and design. It is very similar, if not identical, to some on Rt 66-- examples are in the NM and CA Rt 66 galleries.
