INTERDEPENDENT (Lincoln Highway nr Rock River WY)

The title could instead be "Fossil Cabin & Rabbit" but this gets to a larger truth. Fossilized dinosaur bones built into a tourist trap now provide shelter (windbreak, water runoff) for living things including plants and animals.

A tree--cut down and converted to lumber--gains new life as a fence. And tumbleweeds trapped by the fence will eventually decay into mulch, enriching the soil for living plants...which are then eaten by rabbits. This is a microcosm of how it all works.
