He's so cute--and he was hidden inside a great big pump all these years! Even the pump jockey never saw him.

The surrounding open space had a painted metal panel with little holes for the numbers to show through. Outside was a door with a glass window.

What looks like a pump globe on top is actually the "Glass Must Be Full Before And After Delivery" indicator.
