INCLINE VIEW #1 (Lincoln Highway Pittsburgh PA)

INCLINE VIEW #1 (Lincoln Highway Pittsburgh PA)

The 1877 Duquesne Incline makes a steep trip as downtown lighting comes on. Pittsburgh once had 19 inclines (funiculars) but only two remain.

The river at left top is the Allegheny, at right bottom the Monongahela. They flow to the left (west) forming the Ohio River at the triangle of land called Point State Park.
