KING MIDGET IN MOTION (Lincoln Highway Kearney NE)

This looks like it might have pedals...actually there's a 12 HP engine. It might do 50 MPH. The King Midget was street legal and remained in production through 1970.

As it passes by it gets puzzled views from the crowd. Then it's promptly ignored--there are no lingering glances.

Also of note: the bend in the passenger's arm matches the unusual sheet-metal over the front wheel.
