Normally the neon tubing is the first part of the sign to go--a victim of hailstorms and other calamities. But here the neon is still largely intact, and the metal is rusting out.

The road down to the Inn is now a residential street.

The 1905 Inn was a popular eating place for locals, and no doubt some Rt 66 travelers as well. It burned to the ground in the 1990s.
