A watercolor effect has been added to an 1860 Pony Express scene photographed 157 years later. The land is now Rock Creek Station State Historic Park. The Re-Rider is near a stream with steep banks. Behind her are ruts left by wagons, while a graded modern path branches off to the right toward a visitor center.
