MIDTOWN #306 (New York)
The Pigeon of Peace escorts Union General William Tecumseh Sherman marching south, accompanied by the Spirit of Victory who pushes over a slender building in their way. Or something.
Actually, pretty close to the truth. Sherman devastated Atlanta GA, and destroyed the Confederacy's ability to fight. "Like Sherman through Georgia" is still used as a metaphor for diarrhea.
The statue, of gilded bronze, is from 1902 and part of a small park. The fashionably thin building, under construction, contains luxury residences.
