Obsolete the moment it opened, this former Fina station had a business model from Route 66 days. Gas and diesel got pumped under the canopy--but there's never been much profit in that. The little cinder block building gave the attendant weather protection but was too small for anything other than oil cans and maybe a Coke machine. Selling the secondary Fina brand probably didn't help either.

Today, drivers avoid recycling fees by dumping their worn out--or blown out--tires here. Religious and irreligious vandals have paid visits as well.
