Eating places along Route 66 cover the spectrum. The simplest have a burned-out neon "EAT" sign and no curb appeal. Then there's the Magic Lamp Inn. The tiled roof alone says "$$$$." It's been a Route 66 fine dining experience since 1955. More info: www.themagiclampinn.com.
