SUNLIT DESERT PLANT (Rt 66 Glenrio NM/TX)

This is the first desert plant inside New Mexico on Rt 66--and it appears to be on fire. Golden light from a Texas sunrise is catching thorns and making them glow. In the distance is the "First Motel in Texas" sign which hasn't been illuminated in decades.
