RIDIN' SHOTGUN #1 ('56 CHEVY) (Rt 66 Springfield IL)

DON'T LAUGH! This is fine art. It's supposed to be blurry, grainy, mysterious, and hard to understand, don't you understand?

Notice the delicate interplay and choreography of the curves and lines. How the man's face is perfectly cut-off by the chrome of the vent window. And how his arm perfectly cuts-off the face of the woman riding in back (and isn't that a nice 1950s touch).

Images in this series were done on a digital camera mounted on an 8-pound tripod. You know how hard it is to produce a grainy, blurred main image on a tripod-mounted Nikon while keeping the background nice and sharp?

That's why they call it art.
