The title is from the 1972 Eagles song "Take It Easy." It sounds anachronistic today, but it was rock-and-roll back then and peaked at #12 that summer.

The singer is standing on a corner in Winslow when he notices: "It's a girl, my Lord, in a flatbed Ford slowin' down to take a look at me."

The truck is part of a tableau aimed at Route 66 and other tourists.
